Cooking up a cupcake

The recipe for challenge 3 on Cooking it up with Katie calls for:

1. An image of something that's been cooked or can be cooked;
2. Use some buttons;
3. Add a little something inside. This could be a decorated message mat, a pocket for a gift card or anything else you come up with.

I used a three-fold card and a sticky BG bling cupcake which I coloured in with a glittery Sakura pink. I printed the recipe and stuck it inside so it shows when you open the front flap to the left.

Fiskarettes
Monday challenge is 'cupcakes' (a new challenge tomorrow, so only just scraping in with this one!)

As I've used a tall card it's good for CCEE 'shape up and stand tall'. It's another one for MMM pink. As the card is all shades of pink, I'm also linking for Paper Blooms 'monochromatic'

Card-a-licious
29 is to make a card using only three items - mine are: paper, cupcake and buttons - and the use of buttons is another one for Kraftin' Kimmie 2: 'buttons, buttons ... who's got some buttons?'

Autumn day sunshine

It's a lovely sunny day here, but with a definite autumnal nip in the air.

This card is for sketch 28 on Stamp with fun:

I've used buttons on my card, so it's good for:

Cupcake
61: 'buttons and stitching' (the stitching is on the ribbon)
Kraftin' Kimmie 2: 'buttons, buttons, who's got some buttons?'
Crazy Amigo: 'buttons and knots' (there's a knot in the ribbon)

Paperplay 39 is 'favourite embellishments', which for me, I think, would have to be flowers/blooms, so they are included on this card

There are still a lot of autumn themes around the challenges:

The pink elephant 36: 'fall'
Created by hand: 'harvest time'
Stamp, scrap and doodle Saturdays 11 is a picture inspiration with autumnal colours:

and 3 clovers 35: 'nature' - which can certainly include autumnal colours

It also fits the colours for day 229 on 365 cards

I'm editing this because I've just found the new monthly challenge blog 'By the cute and girly' with 'autumn glory' as the first topic, so I'm linking this card there as it was made after the challenge was launched.

I used BG June bug and Infuse papers, stamping with a Laura Ashley stamp with stazon blazing red:

After the coffee morning sale, my stock of A6 size birthday cards is sadly depleted (well, I shouldn't say 'sadly' because it was good that people wanted them) - so I now need to replenish (although really I prefer making square cards, but have got quite a stock of them, so I must be disciplined - ha ha!)

Fairy-nuff

This card uses the sketch from Friday Sketchers 74:

It is also for 'fairy-nuff', which is this week's challenge on Cute Daisy May.

The swirls of gold stickles across the base of the card represents the sprinkling of fairy dust and seems appropriate for 365 day 227: 'in motion'.

Paper Cutz challenge 13 asks us to use a tag, which is on this card.

ABC this week is F for flying - fairies fly, don't they? I've just read on ABC: 'remember this can be anything that flies, insects, fairies even witches.' So that's OK then! And Inspire me Thursday this week is 'winged things' - fairies certainly have wings!

The fairy paper and tag came free with a craft magazine.
