Serene purple

Another similar card to one I did yesterday, once again using a background designed by Lavinia Stamps for Imagination Stamps on to which I stamped the lovely Penny Black 'sparklers' and the sentiment stamp designed by Lynn Lockwood for FunStamps, both inked with memento grape jelly (a beautiful muted purple colour that fitted perfectly with the scene).

This is for:

Inkspirational 83: purple
4 crafty chicks 247: sympathy
Penny Black May: trees or nature
Fashionable stamping 98: old favourites - forgotten, but favourite stamp (both stamps)
Little tangles 56: clean and simple
Scrappy hands 38: clean and simple
Simply create too 86: keep it simple
Pile it on 69: not cute
Word art Wednesday 184: anything goes

CHNC challenge 230: use something die cut or punched

This is my design card for my CHNC challenge 230: use something die cut or punched.

For my card I've used a lovely coloured image from Beccy Muir at Beccy's Place called  'family reunion' (Beccy is one of our sponsors this week). I die cut the image using a Nelli Snellen die and used the same die to create a negative one in the mirror card, cutting it to make a frame. The background card is Hunkydory and I punched three stars from the mirror card adding 3 pearl button stars on to them. The sentiment circle is from Craftwork Cards, originally cream, coloured with a spectrum noir pen.

Completely Christmas challenge 64

This is my design card for Completely Christmas challenge 64: anything goes with a twist ... include a candle or a lantern. Please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and join in our challenge.

I used Stitchy Bear's digi outlet Christmas candles, kindly supplied by the challenge sponsor, colouring with spectrum noir pens and die cutting with a Spellbinders nestie, colouring through the edges of the die before removing, also using another from the same set to feature the 'A very merry Christmas' sentiment. The background card is Hunkydory and poinsettias from Hobbycraft.
