Just a note ...

I actually based this card on the one given by JJ Bolton for CASE study 135:

but, unfortunately, was too late to add it to the challenge, but just want to give credit for it. So the idea was CASE'd from that card, so it's something borrowed for Cute card Thursday 263.

My card uses a kraft card blank on to which I stamped the Inkadinkado pens stamp, coloured with colouring pencils. I split the 'just a note ...' stamp top and bottom, added gold strips in two corners and rounded the others.

New home card

New home card using decoupage upcycled from a card received. Before assembling the decoupage I printed the sentiment and then heat embossed it with clear powder because the ink was wet on the shiny card.

Ruby wedding anniversary

I was asked to make a Ruby wedding anniversary card. I have to confess that I re-purposed some bits from a couple of cards I made long ago and didn't really like.

The spotted background was made with an embossing folder and the swirls with a stencil, using fired brick distress ink. The hearts were die cut using snippets and flowers from stash.

Christening card

I was commissioned to make a Christening card with the request that it have lots of pink, the child's name and a Bible verse.

I've used double sided Fancy Pants 'heavenly' paper from their Key Lime Pie range.

The Bible book shapes were cut with a nestie die. I used a little strip of white teddies (had these for years) as the stopper and the Forever Friends bear and other elements.

Inside I stuck a couple of glittered hearts with gems and the 'on your special day' sentiment.

The scripture verse:
