Suzy Bee's Bloomin' challenge 46: anything goes with blooms

For my design card for Suzy Bee's Bloomin' challenge 46 I used a cat image from Sparkle n Sprinkle 'feline humor'. Sparkle n Sprinkle are sponsoring the challenge which is 'anything goes with blooms'. I've used a free background garden image that I found on the internet, adding the cut out image of the cat and then adding some silk flowers from Create and Craft. I've had a few of these in lots of different colours, but haven't felt inclined to use the green ones, but they seem to be OK here.

CHNC challenge 194: silent night

Having had 'Do you hear what I hear?' for the theme for last week's Craftyhazelnut Christmas challenge, I thought we would have the opposite this week and depict 'silent night' for CHNC challenge 194 - please click on the link to read about it and join in with your entries - if you haven't yet started your Christmas cards, there's no better time than NOW!

For this card I've used a background that I found on the internet on to a piece of blue mirror card on to which I matted an old Kanban frame and toppers - a peaceful 'silent night' picture. The middle topper is slightly raised with foam pads.

Silent night on Christmas Eve

This week's CHNC challenge 194 is 'silent night' - depict this in any way you wish. For this card I thought I would depict a silent night on Christmas Eve.

I've used the Bugaboo Stamps snow globe - reindeer silhouette, kindly supplied by them as they are one of the challenge's sponsors. I digitally placed this on to their frosty digi papers and printed out, just colouring the base of the snow globe with a spectrum noir. This was then matted on to a white card blank with the addition of three different sized poinsettias from Hobbycraft.
