Baubles ... and yet more baubles!
It was Kerry's turn to set the challenge for the Christmas Card Club girls and she asked us to feature baubles. I prepared this Saturday afternoon when I wasn't feeling that great, so I went the easy route and made cards using supplies from a Hunkydory kit, along with some snippets of glitter strips that I'd been saving in case they came in handy. The sentiment panels on the first two cards are from Anna Griffin.
The glitter strip on the righthand side of this one looks crooked, but it's not actually - this is a card that opens from the bottom, so the photo was taken on the slant.
The piece of card on the lefthand side of this one was an offcut from the previous card.

Purple diamonds
Another card using a kraft card blank, layered with some more of the crinkly paper I found hidden in a box and a lovely piece of flocked paper. For the central image I applied antique linen distress ink pad direct to paper, then stamped with one of the stamps from the Clearly besotted building blocks set inked with dusty concord distress ink. Just the addition of a flower and the card was finished.

An acetate window card
This is another card for my CHNC challenge 129 where I'm asking to see a frame, a window or an aperture on your Christmas cards.
I've used a ready-made stepper card, Kanban card, border strips and sentiment strip with a peel off. The picture has an acetate window over it so that it is rounded in the front to stand a bit away from the picture. The paper chains and holly are printed on the acetate as well as on the picture underneath to give a bit of dimension.

CHNC challenge 129 : frame, window or aperture
Today's CHNC challenge 129 is to use a frame, window or aperture on your Christmas card - it can be as simple as showing a window, which is what I've done with this Hunkydory die cut picture of a house with lights in the windows. Background card and the spotty card are Kanban offcuts and the silver holly borders and the sentiment are Hunkydory 'winter wonderland' from the Christmas Classics range.
