CHNC challenge 238: spots and/or stripes


This is my card for my CHNC challenge 238: spots and/or stripes. I've used some lovely digital bokeh paper kindly supplied by one of our sponsors this week, Stamp your life. The lovely reindeer is 'snowflake reindeer silhouette' by Bugaboo Stamps. The stripes and other elements were achieved with playing around with various digital designs.

I thought the bokeh effect would make a change to the more normal regular spots or dots.

A vintage wedding card


This is my design card for Suzy Bee's Bloomin' challenge 89: anything goes with a twist ... vintage wedding card. Please click the link to the lovely crafting of others in the team and join in our challenge.

I used a Dazzling Ace Designs image supplied by them as sponsor, adhering an ornate frame over the printed image (wasn't sure about this at first, but I think it looks OK, just different). I've had the wedding vows sentiment panel for ages and thought it was just right for this card with a piece of ribbon behind (used to use ribbon like this years ago, but got out of the habit). The Mr & Mrs is a raised embossed rub on.

 In the photo the card looks lighter than it is - more of a creamy ivory in real life.
