Happy Easter with love

This is for the sketch on Don't waste your Thursdays 75:

The background card, image and sentiments are from a recently purchased kit - I need to make quite a few Easter cards within the next couple of weeks, so will need to make some more cards similiar to this that are quick to put together.

This is also for:

Lexi 35: Easter
Pixie cottage 60: Easter
Paper players 37: spring has sprung

Home for the holidays

'Home for the holidays' is the topic for this week's challenge on Jingle Belles (I'm just scraping in at the last minute).

I've used some decoupage houses from last year's QVC/Kanban kit. The background paper is from Making Cards. It's an A5 size card.

There is lots of glitter on the houses to depict snow, so this is also for Christmas stampin all year long: how much bling can you bring.

This is also for:

Creative card crew: no flowers
Wild orchid 18: anything goes
Papertake weekly: anything goes + optional: something old (the kit I used)
Aly's: anything goes
Card cupids: anything goes
Craft your passion 48: anything goes
Simon says: anything goes

Happy Birthday Dear Son

The years roll by all too quickly - it seems impossible that John's oldest son will be 37 on Saturday - he was just 17 when we married.

Anyway, it was time to make a card for him - and, as often the case with the special family cards, it was a case of trying to think of something different to what I've done before.

I stamped the Whispers Happy Birthday stamp with Stazon ultramarine on to the piece of paper from the PM Heather paper collection, likewise stamping the Dear Son lettering (from the PM alphabet stamps), which were then coloured with copics. The Whispers candles were stamped and coloured with copics and then a few gems dotted around here and there.

I'm entering this for these challenges:

Top tip Tuesday 25: happy birthday
Aud sentiments 23: birthday cards
Crafty Ann 35: birthday card
Creative card world: anything goes so long as the card is for a male
Ooh-la-la 75: it's a man thing
Woodware USA 17: sentiment focus
Stamp with fun 101: monochrome blue
Creative card crew: no flowers
Wild orchid 18: anything goes
Papertake weekly: anything goes + optional: something old (the Whispers stamps)
Aly's: anything goes
Card cupids: anything goes
Craft your passion 48: anything goes
Simon says: anything goes

WOYWW 92

A quick post to show my workspace today for WOYWW 92 - if you don't know what that is, why not quick on the link and join in.

To my left, I have a pile of cards that now have labels on the back and inserts in them, but they still need to be bagged up ready for selling soon (selling at our WEF at church on 18 March and at home here on Saturday 26 March to raise funds for Tearfund).

I hate doing all the mundane bits of labelling, bagging etc but thought I ought to leave the piles out so that hopefully I'll get on with them.

To the right of me are boxes of inserts and envies, behind which are piles of Christmas cards - I obviously don't need to bother with bagging these up yet!

In front of me I've got the card, background paper and stamps ready for make the next card.

Thanks for coming to look at my workspace. I hope to get around to others as soon as I can, but time ticks by so quickly and there's so much to do.
