A second card for Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper June challenge

This is my second card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper June challenge - please click on the link to discover what this is all about, if you haven't done so already - and please join in my challenge, using any of your patterned paper - anything goes, as long as you use some patterned paper.

The prize this month is:

K & company Roam 6" x 6" paper pad
36 sheets - 3 sheets each of 12 designs

I had two of the K & Co Roam paper pads, so I made two cards using the same two stamps in different ways on two different pieces of paper from the pad.

For the second card I used this piece of paper from the K & Co Roam pad:

this time using the same two stamps, but inking with Brilliance pearlescent purple and sprinkling with pearl plum embossing powder and heating. I then swiped across with versamark and lightly brushed some  cosmic shimmer sunrise pink iridescent mica pigment over it, which I then buffed up with a tissue. In the process of rubbing the area I accidentally creased the paper in a few places. I ran it through my Xyron adhesive hoping that the creases would press out, but they didn't. In the end I thought it added to the vintage look of the card, so I decided to keep the creases! (instead of starting all over again, having spent quite a long time anyway).

CHNC challenge extra for June 2015

This is my design card for my CHNC challenge extra for June - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of my team.

For my card I used one of my favourite Bugaboo Stamps digis (Bugaboo, as usual, are sponsoring the challenge with a prize of $21 to spend in their digital online store - so much choice!)/ The digi I used, supplied by Bugaboo stamps, is 'winter birds - skate' - I coloured with spectrum noir pens - all papers are offcuts of My Mind's Eye Christmas lost and found (I'll be really sad when all the other remaining snippets are used up).

The first card was created with one of these pieces of paper:

on to which I stamped the Stampington Company 'Leonardo' stamp inked with memento rich cocoa and also the Tim Holtz script stamp. I coloured with copic pens including some pale yelllow over the script - this looks much better irl than it does here.

The Glory of Christmas 60: snowman/woman

This is my design card for the Glory of Christmas challenge 60: snowman/woman. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs of the rest of the team and join in our challenge.

For my card I've used a lovely coloured image from Beccy Muir at Beccy's Place called  'family reunion' framed with a Hunkydory die cut, mounted on to an unknown piece of card. I used snippets of Hunkydory strips and the sentiment circle to finish the card off.
