Cute Easter

Another Easter card, this time for Net's sketch for Totally Gorjuss 70:

Yet again papers are FF spring time and other bits are from QVC kit. The edges of the image etc are gold foiled, although they look black here.

The colour scheme is for Design dollies: monochromatic pink and add a splash of yellow, also for Simply create 39: monochromatic and Stamping Vacation monochromatic creations challenge: pinks, also for Forever Friends: monochrome - the papers are FF Spring time.

It's also for:

Easter bunnies

This Easter card is for the sketch on Card Patterns 105:

Papers are Forever Friends spring time and the pyramage bunnies, the scalloped border and the circle sentiment are from the QVC kit. The foiled edges are actually gold and there is quite a bit of glitter on the images.

There is some pink here, so this is for Res-Q 73: oh no, it's pink eye - use hints of pink. I used some stripes for Paper sundaes 59: stripes and also for Alphabet: S for stripes.

The pyramage layers are for Nadia's challenge 1: springtime card in 3D and also for Do you stack up 10: layers.

The bunnies are for Creative Belli 112: animals and it's Easter for Pals paper arts 84: Easter/spring, Lexi 35: Easter and Pixie cottage 60: Easter.

Easter daffodils

This is another card for the sketch on I did it 44, this time using an image from Crafty Ann - part of a prize I won for one of her challenges recently, coloured with copics and shape cut with a nestie.

Papers are the same as the previous card (I used the other halves of the cut triangles) and once again I used a sticky ribbon and a sentiment from the QVC kit. Unfortunately, once again the scan gives a grey look to the background rather than white.

This is also for:

Easter cross and flowers

This is for the sketch on I did it 44, using one of Robyn fetish images, 'cross and flowers', which I recently won as part of a prize, coloured with copics and shape cut with a nestie, distressed slightly with mustard seed DI.

Background papers are Forever Friends springtime, sticky ribbon from stash and sentiment from QVC kit. The background of the sentiment is silver and the background of the paper is whiter than it looks here - the image shape and sentiment are mounted with 3D foam, so the scan has cast shadows.

This is also for:

Easter blessings

Two more cards I made last night, using stardream card blanks - these have a lovely shimmery look - and shaped images and sentiments again from the QVC kit, distressed with mustard seed DI (first card) and stormy sky DI (second card).
Just the addition of a piece of ribbon from one of my boxes, which is good for:

The crafty pad 111: use a ribbon
Paper pretties 144: ribbon

These are also for:

Crafty calendar 18: spring
Paper garden project: spring things

Easter eggs

This is a fun Easter card - one of the images from the QVC kit and also some of the background with just the addition of a knotted ribbon, which has been in one of my ribbon boxes for ages.

This is for:

Lothian crafts 12: bright colours
Paper romance 41: as many colours as possible

Paper pretties 144: ribbon

Shaped Easter cards distressed

For these cards I used two of the shaped cards I bought recently (I've got a whole box full, so I need to get using some of them) distressing the edges - one with stormy sky DI and one with mustard seed DI , reversing the distressing on the sentiment panels, which were part of a recent QVC Easter kit.

I need to make quite a few Easter cards before next Friday, so it's handy to have some ready-made images like this, but I like to use them in my own way rather than as the kit suggests. The crosses are foiled gold.
