I was asked to make a card for a daughter's 30th birthday, with the interests of Arsenal football, Wales rugby and anything to do with media.

I used a free background across the middle, adding the rugby and Arsenal logos digitally and then added the film strips, adding the text and when printed out I added the 3D camera stickers and the numerals. I used a side opening A5 card blank.

Have a wonderful day

Another Wedding Anniversary card, with silver holographic mirror card embossed with Lisa Horton's Padded quilt folder. The panel behind the Kanban toppers ia an offcut of the mirror card with alcohol inks added randomly. The flower was from The Works.

This is for:

To a lovely couple

A wedding anniversary card made with Lisa Horton's Magnolia embossing folder and a couple of pieces from Kanban long ago. The magnolia background came about because I wanted to do some magnolia pieces for another card (will show it in a day or two) and wanted to be sure I was going to get the folder the right way round ... I sometimes deboss instead of emboss. So I used a white piece of card which I then swiped with memento tuxedo black ink pad and mounted on to a black piece of card and then on to the white card blank.

I used an offcut of green mirror card to cut the mini doilie from Lisa Horton's mini doilies set, with the inner piece cut from a scrap left from one of the papers from Lisa's magazine. The large butterflies are from a pack bought long ago.

Wishing you a happy Birthday

I made this card this afternoon using the pretty leaves 3D embossing folder by Lisa Horton with a piece of white card, brushing with green distress ink and mounting on to green mirror card.  I then used an offcut of the mirror card to cut the mini doilie from Lisa Horton's mini doilies set. The stamped sentiment was inked with memento cottage ivy and stamped on to a piece of paper that came with Lisa's magazine, cutting again with the green mirror background, both from her Double layered sentiments set.

A few of the die cuts went in the bin before I got the 'sandwich' right (wasn't thinking straight - lol!) and at one stage the Gemini just stopped and went off the air .... I switched off, on, off, on etc .... tried gently pushing the plates .... nothing ... until suddenly I switched on again, the lights came on and the plated went through .... phew - lol!

As usual, it was difficult to get a better photo because of reflection.

Have a great day

This card started with a 'happy accident' when I thought I embossed a piece of holographic silver mirror card ... but accidentally (not for the first time) put it into the embossing folder the wrong way round - lol! So it ended up debossed. I used the lovely Heart Bouquet 3D embossing folder with cutting die by Lisa Horton and papers from Lisa's recent magazine box, stamping and die cutting the sentiment from Lisa's double layered sentiments.

Happy Birthday, Son

Yesterday was my step-son's birthday and this is the card I sent him, using an A4 patterned card from Kanban to create the A5 blank, adding the background that I created by adding free digital images and then printing, adding the birthday sentiment, footballs and stars.

Sympathy

I had a request today for a sympathy card ... I had a couple in stock, but knew that this lady wanted something different to the ones I had, so I got out my La Blanche foam lily stamp, inked it with memento tuxedo black straight on to the white card blank, stamping the corners with an unknown stamp that I've had for ages. I coloured parts of the lily with spectrum noir pencils. The insert says 'With deepest sympathy'.

Celebrate

Two cards made with the lovely Heart Bouquet 3D embossing folder with cutting die by Lisa Horton, one cut using gold mirror card and the other holographic silver mirror. I then used offcut pieces of each to cut the daisy that I added to the alternate mirror card, adding these with 3D foam. Having adhered it all to white card blanks, one opening as normal and one as a tent style card, I then added die cut 'Celebrate' from Crafter's Companion (part of their Create-a-card triple easel ornate frames, cutting the edge pieces in the opposite mirror card.
