Celebration Candy

As this post will be on top until 6 March,
please scroll down to see recent crafting.
Thank you.

I started this blog on 1 March 2007, so it's been going now for nearly four years.

During this time I have made many crafting friends in blogland and am so grateful for everyone who visits and for the many comments that are so appreciated.

I can't believe it that today (10 February) my visitors count has reached 100,000 - a cause for celebration (I didn't start the actual sitemeter counter until nearly the end of April 2007).

So I'm offering this candy as a celebration:

Dovecraft Premium Embossed Cards (5 cards with envelopes) Sports
Dovecraft Premium Embossed Cards (5 cards with envelopes) Birthday
Dovecraft Premium Embossed Cards (5 cards with envelopes) Daisy Floral
Dovecraft 8 x 8 designer paper pack (48 sheets) - Retro floral prints
Black Magic Core'inations Hocus Pocus (20 sheets 6 x 6)
V & A 24 sheet 6 x 6 Linen Paper pack
Papermania Clear Stamps: Doodles, Clare Curd's signature range
Papermania Sparkling trims: baby pink
Papermania Sparkling trims: brown
American Crafts Elements Pearl brads

To be in with a chance to win, all you need to do is leave a link to your blog once you've linked back to me from your blog - either in a post, or by putting a link in your sidebar - telling others about my candy celebration.

The draw is open to anyone and everyone, whether you're a frequent visitor or here for the first time - and I'm willing to post worldwide, so distance is no problem.

If you're not already a follower of my blog I would love it if you became one.

I will keep this post on top until midnight UK time Sunday 6 March and will do the draw the next day, using random.org.

Black, white and red

On 365 cards, Sunday is always a super sketchy day, so this is for today, day 6:

Papers are from my offcuts box and the chipboard embellishment with button is one from a pack of five from Poundland (another good bargain).

This is also for:

Shabby tea room 51
: classic elegance - red, white and black
The play date cafe 71: colour splash player's choice - black and white with a limited use of colour
One stop craft 121: black, white and one other colour
Paper sundaes 59: stripes
Iris' spot 14: buttons

So far I've kept to my March resolution and am now up to date with the 365 cards challenges (but we're only up to day 6 ....)

Winter and summer collide

'Winter and summer collide' is the topic for 365 day 5.

I have a set of Whispers stamps for the four seasons, so I stamped the winter one with black ink on to white card and the summer one with light blue ink on to white card and then coloured in tree, blossom and leaves with copics. The 'winter' paper is a piece from my Christmas scraps box and the 'summer' is PM Honey & hugs. Why is it that irl the blossom matches the summer paper, but not on the scan?

I thought it went well with the verse from Ecclesiastes 3:1: 'There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens.'
