Penny's challenge 323


This is my design card for Penny's challenge 323, where the theme is 'anything goes'. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in with your entries.

I used the lovely Little Blue Button Easter crew image kindly supplied by them as sponsor of the challenge. I coloured with spectrum noir pens and die cut using a Spellbinder's nestie die, edging with canary yellow pen. Papers are some from my offcuts box. Feathers, ribbon and little epoxy sticker chicks from stash.

Let's craft and create challenge 124

I made a CAS Easter card, using a piece of printed paper that I think came from a magazine freebie - I scanned and created the sentiment digitally before printing and then added some stickers.

More mixed media April challenge


This is my design project for More mixed media April challenge where the option this month is to use yellow, so I used plenty of it (and not much else!). Please click on the link to see the wonderful crafting of the rest of the team. We hope you will join in our challenge - you don't have to use yellow, that's optional ... just create a mixed media design.

I created two backgrounds using my A4 gelli plate with two different Clarity stencils, large shapes and small dots, using both the positive and the negative 'prints' from the gelli plate, using a couple of different acrylic paints. I randomly stamped the Dawn Billy flower stamp using mustard seed distress ink. The Easter stamp was inked with versamark and heat embossed with gold detail powder. I used a piece of card that had been brayered to get the yellow paint off, die cutting the cross with a Spellbinder's die and backing with a piece of matt gold card. Flowers added from Hobbycraft. The inner background and the cross were raised up with foam to give a bit of dimension.

 The card is 8 x 8.
