Sticky notes holder

This is a sticky notes holder. The cover is made by scoring a piece of card to wrap around the pack of sticky notes (I used my Hougie board to score).

The background card with circles is an offcut from my scraps box, so this is another playground entry for Pixie's crafty snippets 9. Flowers and brad from stash.

Yes, it's another card from the Kanban range - quick and simple - again, the shaped middle is an aperture so the picture is stuck on the inside of the card.

Just for you

This is another card made from some of the Kanban clever card kit that I bought ages ago. This is also an aperture card, so the inner shape is stuck inside the card. This would be suitable for male or female, for any occasion.

Aquamarine

This is another card made from a Kanban kit. I couldn't get a photo of it, so have had to resort to scans, which is a shame because you can't really 'get' the shape. I wish that I'd taken photos of it, but I can't now because the card has been sold!

The centre piece actually swings round, so it is cut on the left side. The white that you see on the right is just the screen of the scanner, not white card.

When it's opened the other way the left side is blank and the inside shape is revealed.

Another card made from a kanban kit - once again the fancy shape in the middle is an aperture, so the picture is actually on the inside of the card.

Green for sympathy

Another card that has a 'with deepest sympathy' insert. This time I've used a La Blanche lily stamp and coloured with copics.

Purple for sympathy

This is another card that has an insert saying 'with deepest sympathy'.

The flower image is recycled from a card received (it was stamped and embossed), matted on to a piece of handmade crinkly paper.

This is any clean and simple sympathy card, stamped with a La blanche foam stamp and coloured lightly with copics, mounted on to a dark green mat.

The insert says: with deepest sympathy.

White space for sympathy

I was selling cards last night at our WEF at church to help raise money for Tearfund and discovered yesterday that I was low on stocks of sympathy cards. Sadly, people tend to buy these so that they have them in reserve should they need them, so I made a few to fill the gap. This card was one of them, simply a hammered white card blank (sorry, it doesn't look too white in the photo, but it is IRL), with the addition of a topper recycled from a card received. I like to leave sympathy cards clean and simple.

The insert says: with deepest sympathy.

CHNC challenge 62: seeing red

Another week's gone by, so it's time for a new challenge on my CHNC blog. For challenge 62 we're seeing red - use red on your Christmas card ... a little, or a lot. I look forward to seeing what everyone does. If you haven't joined in yet, why not click on the link and join in the fun and avoid panic towards the end of the year.

Challenge 62 is being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and for my card I've used digital images kindly supplied by Robyn's Fetish - 'beautiful bow' (I used this twice) and 'prissy poinsettia'. I coloured with copics.

My card is based on the sketch for Sunday sketch & stamp 95 - I turned it to the left:

All papers used for my card were from my Christmas offcuts box, so this is another one for Pixie's crafty snippets 9. The foiled and glittered scalloped shape cut with a nestie was recycled - it was originally part of a Christmas cracker for a couple of years ago. It doesn't show up well here because of the foiling, but you can get the idea of what it looks like from the bit at the top.

I'm also entering this into the following challenges:

The crafty pad 159: recycle it
Divas by design 24: spots and/or stripes
Polka doodles 9: polkadots, stripes or both
The sisterhood of crafters: getting digi with it
