Glory of Christmas challenge 48: candy canes and/or gingerbread


This is my design card for the Glory of Christmas challenge 48: candy canes and/or gingerbread. Please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and we would love you to join in our challenge.

I managed to feature both candy canes and gingerbread on my card thanks to the Cosy Christmas collection paper that I used, mounted on to mirror card before matting on to the shaped card blank, rounding the corners with a punch.

Simply layered the die cut labels, cut on the left with the lovely little gingerbread, felt button and twine.

I based the card on the sketch given for Atlantic hearts sketch 84:

Photo had to be taken slanted because there was so much reflection on the mirror card that there was either glare or a picture of me with the camera! The sentiment, of course, is also mirror card.
