Just blue

The card blank was already decorated (same on the back as well). I added some silver glitter strip, corrugated strip (Poundland) the the image stamped on to an offcut of striped paper, then matted on to pearlescent and then mirror card. The image is Penny Black 'letters and flowers'.

More neon brightness

Warning: just like the previous card, you need sunglasses for this!

This is another one using a bright orange card blank with lots of strips of neon coloured washi tapes, with a bright pink sentiment panel.

This is for:

Cardz 4 guyz 36: no patterned paper (don't see why a male shouldn't have bright colours! - after all, they wore neon socks of these colours in the late 50s!)

Playing with washi tapes

I think there should be a warning on this one to put your sunglasses on! I recently bought quite a few reels of bright neon coloured washi tape and decided I would put some on a bright orange card blank with a snippet piece of bright pink pearlescent card from corner to corner and use a bright pick sentiment panel - I think it works quite well.

Get well

This card was made with more of the paper from the same pack as the last card (still can't think what it actually is) The middle paper was cut with my mini 8 celtic punch. The flowers are Crafty impressions and the sentiment 3D sticker is one I've had for ages that tones with these.

The card opens tent style:

Let's celebrate

This is a card that could be suitable for a variety of occasions - perhaps for engagement, anniversary, wedding or even birthday.

I can't remember what the papers are, but they all coordinate from the same pack and the striped paper was cut at the edge with a Martha Steward punch. The felts padded hearts etc is an Express Yourself DIY 3D sticker.

Cherry pie for Crafting Musketeers September challenge

It's team B's turn to add some designs for inspiration for the Crafting Musketeers September challenge. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs of other team members and join in the challenge here - just make sure you add buttons to your creation. There is a super prize to be won so make sure you have a look and get making your card with buttons.

The design team were given some delightful digital images by Helz Cuppleditch to use for our cards and I chose to use this lovely image with the mouse with the cherry pie. I coloured with spectrum noir pens and cut out with a scalloped circle nestie (using my cuttlebug), brushing very lightly with fired brick distress ink before removing the die. This was then matted on to the doily. The background paper is Kanban 'cherry on top' (so glad I remembered I had this) and the green checked is Kanban 'picnic gingham', lined by some spotted ribbon - the gingham card and spotted ribbon are much darker in real life and are a better much for the green button than they look on here. Buttons were from Tiger (I do love that store - they have different things every time I go in ... lots of temptation!).

Shades of blue for Fan-tastic Tuesday challenge 53

The theme for today's Fan-tastic Tuesday challenge 53 is anything goes with shades of blue - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team - and we would love to see your entries.

This is my design card using Bugaboo 'block sentiments - if friends were flowers' (Bugaboo Stamps are the sponsors of the challenge). I coloured with copics (I seem to have neglected these recently, so it made a change!). I matted this on to a snippet of unknown spotted blue paper that was cut with a Spellbinders marvellous squares die. This was then matted on to a ready decorated card blank - the same pattern is on the back.
