Mariposa with glitter

This is another card using papers from DCWV Mariposa - yes, I do love these papers. This time I've cut the shape from a 12 x 12 - it's cut from the one that I used in the previous card.

Colours are for ColourQ 88:
The strip of red is Craftime glittered paper.

Birdie among the butterflies

This is another card using paper from the DCWV Mariposa pad - can you tell that I rather like these? I distressed the edges of the butterflies paper by tearing. The bird was cut with a nestie and the edges distressed with brushed corduroy DI. The shape surrounding the bird was cut from another Mariposa paper. The sentiment panel says 'with special thanks (photo is the best I could get today).
