Christmas Choir

This is another card finished yesterday with some of the Papermania backing paper already on the card blank (must have done that over a year ago and forgotten) with the addition of the lovely choir entering church from a Hunkydory kit, with the addition of the 3D foam backed snowflakes from Italian Options.

CHNC challenge 513

These are my design cards for my CHNC challenge 513 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of  'make your own background'.

For my cards I inked the lovely Winter foliage stamp by Phill Martin, Sentimentally yours, with versamark ink heat embossing with detail gold for the left hand card and copper for the right, directly on to the black card blanks, making them each one layer. The embossing shows a lot better irl than in the photo.

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year

When going through my craft stuff a couple of days ago I found a few cards that had backgrounds on them (like this one cut from a 12 x 12 Papermania paper) that had been started and left (last year). So, yesterday, I had a session (finished off this morning) finishing off some of those cards. On this one I added the old Kanban sentiment panel (bought years ago) and added the recently acquired poinsettias. The poinsettias on the paper are so shiny on the dark parts - much better irl.

Polar bear

About ten years ago (is it really that long? - lol!) I took part in a sort of 'round robin' share-a-stamp group - I received this stamp to use and then pass on to the next one in the group. I went a bit mad at the time and stamped and stamped in various way and I recently discovered that I had one left where the stamp had been inked with versamark and heat embossed with white detail powder. I don't know whether the blue sky and snowy power came from, but I matted on to the white card blank with the corners cut, adding glittered snowflakes from The Works and the sentiment.

For a special couple

In the last week I've found up Christmas bits that I've had for ages and so yesterday I made quite a few cards using some of them up. Here are two similar cards using Kanban supplies from long ago matted on to unknown pieces of backing paper with the addition of the gold glittered snowflakes on 3D foam from Italian Options.

Christmas music

Last night I got out some more of the Create and Craft Very Berry and Wild Winter kits and made a total of 16 cards using 2 pieces of A4 card that was decorated with Christmas music and holly boughs top and bottom. Here are three of the cards made with parts of the music paper, with sentiments and small toppers added from the kits and the silver,  gold or glittered green poinsettias from Italian Options.

Happy Christmas

Another card made this morning using the Gemini snowflakes cut and emboss folder with a piece of blue mirror card, matted on to a piece of silver holographic and then on to gold mirror card on the tent style A5 card blank. I then added the lovely glitter snowflakes raised up with 3D foam from Italian Options (Amazon) and the sentiment matted on to a snippet of blue mirror card.

Winter wonderland

Another tent style A5 card just made by cutting and embossing with the Gemini winter wonderland folder with silver holographic card, mounted on to gold mirror card, with the sentiment matted on to a piece of holographic.

Up in the air

One more tent style A5 card finished off this morning using the lovely Christmas Eve Gemini cut and emboss folder with black self adhesive sheet, matted on to silver mirror with the addition of punched silver snowflakes and the sentiment mounted on to a piece of the black sheet.

Snowflakes

Another A5 tent opening card started yesterday and finished this morning, made using the Gemini snowflakes cut and emboss folder with silver mirror card, mounted on to blue mirror card, with the addition of silver glittered snowflakes from Italian Options (bought on Amazon) and the sentiment mounted on a darker piece of blue mirror.

Once again, two photos to try to show the shine.

Simply Faith at Christmas

A quick Christmas card today, using the Gemini Faith cut and emboss folder with a piece of Hunkydory striped mirror card, matted  on to silver mirror card and then on to the side opening A5 card blank.

I'm including two photos of the card, trying to show the shine, but neither of them really do it justice.
