Another Easter card, this time using the lovely little Lily cross stamp inked with memento tuxedo black, with the cross coloured with a spectrum noirce pen. I used Spellbinder scalloped oval dies to cut the image and an orange mat, then matting on to another oval that had the edges decorated. Once again, I used a piece of the paper with chicks, wrapped at the bottom with a piece of Easter sentiment ribbon, with the addition of the wooden rabbit. The card base was cut from a piece of patterned Hunkydory card.

Oxide distress ink
As well as playing with alcohol inks yesterday, I got out some of the oxide distress ink pads and used a picked raspberry ink pad to randomly ink over a white piece of card. I then doodled around the edges and inked the lovely Inkadinkado stamp by Dawn Houser with memento tuxedo black, using a few other small stamps that I have in my collection (that haven't been used for ages).

Simply for you
Yesterday I got out the alcohol inks that I haven't used for ages and ages and had a play. This is a card I made with one of the 'play' results using red pepper and wild plum toned down with blending solution, stamping part of the Dandelion daydreams stamp by Phill Martin inked with stazon jet black and also stamped the sentiment from a set from Crafter's Companion.
I wrapped the card with four different eyelash pieces bunched together. Everything on to a black card blank.

I can't remember where the background paper came from, but the panel in the middle was part of a set bought some time ago from The Works, with the addition of the trees, the padded heart, the sentiment pieces and the 3D foam glittered black snowflakes.

Large easel card
I was commissioned to make a special 8 x 8 card featuring quite a few requests - to include a hat, art deco, volunteer, choir, Doc Martins and cakes .... this is the result. The background paper for the upright part of the easel is from Marilyn Robertson's Kimono 8 x 8 paper pad - it's glittered and looks much better irl than it can be seen here. I managed to get some free clipart for the volunteer aspect of the request and one of a choir. The hat was also a clipart, printed and fussy cut.
The art deco pieces were from Hunkydory. The paper on the base is from Dovecrafts' Iss & makeup 8 x 8 paper pack I cut out the Doc Martins and mounted on to 3D foam to act as the stopper. The cupcakes were from Kanban (long ago) and all flowers, including the crocheted ones were from stash.

Happy Birthday gate fold card
Another gate fold card made using the Gemini Daisy Delight dies from Crafter's Companion. It's not really as easy to put together as it perhaps looks - the result is a simple card with added stickers and a piece of embossed silver matt card inside with the addition of the birthday sentiment piece.
This time I started with an A5 piece of pearlescent gold card which I scored to make the gate fold ... it was more accommodating for the linking pieces of die cuts than the larger card I made and showed yesterday.
Happy Birthday Granddaughter
A commissioned card for a granddaughter who plays the oboe. It was a difficult one to photograph as the background was a lovely acetate with butterflies stuck on to a piece of purple mirror card. I'd run this through my xyron so that it stuck well without showing any adhesive. I created the topper digitally with the help of a couple of cliparts, adding the sentiment, printing out and matting on to purple glittered card. I then randomly added some gems.
The lovely acetate and coordinating card came from Crafter's Companion, all mounted on to a lilac card blank. Purple is my favourite crafting colour so I really enjoyed making this card.

Something a little different
I bought the Gemini Daisy Delight from Crafter's Companion some time ago, but, up until now, I hadn't used it. It's two dies that interlock together on a gate fold card. Papers are My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dilly Dally paper pad and the Happy Birthday die for the inside was from Crafter's Companion. I ran an offcut of card through my xyron so that the die cut was backed with adhesive, making it easy to add. Flowers were from Hobbycraft.
The papers had a bit more of a blue look than the photos show.

A birthday thank you
I was commissioned to make a birthday card for a lady who has a responsible admin job in the NHS, currently working at home. I digitally added the Thank You rainbow to a computer screen and printed, adding to the rainbow paper on the side opening A5 card. The flowers are rub ons and the birthday sentiment was made on my dymo letratag.

Knit and natter
This is a commissioned card to be given to a lady who has a white westie and loves knitting. I fussy cut out the westie putting the die cut ball of wool in his paw (needles and yarn, but I didn't use the needles), with a die cut of knitting (knit and natter'- both from Crafter's Companion Sara's signature collection. I used an offcut of paper for the background (bought as part of a set years ago) and added the rub on flowers and ther sentiment.

Let's get baking
A commissioned card made this week for a youngster who enjoys baking. The papers and the stamped image (coloured with spectrum noir pencils and fussy cut out) are all from Papermania ... Cupcake Boutique papers and Cupcake Baking stamp. I printed the sentiment and cut with a todo die, using a bigger one to cut a mat for it. The individual cupcakes are from an old Dawn Bibby kit.

For my card I used Kaisercraft papers including the die cut circle behind the upcycled door scene, layered on to a gold mirror card die cut, with the sentiment circle and the glittered foam backed snowflakes.
