A man's best friend ...

I've been busy this evening making a few more cards for my Tearfund sale tomorrow and this is one of them, simply made with a Kanban decoupage kit (can't really tell that the picture is decoupaged from the photo, but it is). This is similar to the one I made here - just dogs instead of cats.

Let it snow ...

This is very similar to the previous card, once again using components from Anna Griffin, this time with two snowflakes - inspired by the song 'Let it snow' (not that I want it to, because I don't!).

Following yonder star ...

Today's new challenge on Jingle Belles is A caroling we will go - "we're asking you to make a card inspired by any holiday song."

This card made with components from an Anna Griffin kit has a couple of decoupaged stars on it, so it reminds me of We three kings - lots of reference to following the star, including the chorus:

O star of wonder, star of night,
star with royal beauty bright.
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect light.

Joy to the world

I've used the lovely Clarity stamp inked with versamark and heat embossed with detail silver - on to a piece of purple card from my offcuts box - all other pieces were also from scraps, with the addition of the ribbon with gems.

Hang on in there!

Cats seem to be taking over my blog today - lol! This is the third card today featuring a feline friend ... and there might even be more to come!

This time the card is for Paper pretties Wednesday sketch 174:

The paper at the top is BG cupcake 'mac and cheese', the large bloom is one I've had for ages, the images are PB stickeroos and the sentiment is computer generated and printed. The image is mounted on to a nestie die cut.

I hope that this flower is something like a calendula for Daring cardmakers: October flowers (I googled and there seemed to be orange calendula).

Don't know why the sentiment looks ragged on the photo, because it doesn't irl - and they say that the camera never lies!

Cat nap

I made a similar card to this a while ago and someone bought it at my Tearfund sale and asked if I could do another like it - the original one was pink, but I only had a green one left, so here it is - it's a Kanban decoupage topper kit called 'cat nap'.

The background paper is PM silk screened ornate snowflake metallic. The blue papers are from my scraps box and the pink and brown flowered piece of card cut with a Nellie Snellen die was rescued from a shop-bought card I received.
