Let's craft and create challenge 134

This is my design card for Let's craft and create challenge 134: anything goes or option of mother's day/mothers, Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in our challenge.

The background papers are from Kanban words for her pack and the inner paper is an offcut of Nitwit butterfly kisses patchwork. The 3D floral and butterfly stickers were from Hobbycraft  with hearts and 'for a special mum' from stash. I managed after a couple of attempts to print 'On Mothering Sunday' on a piece of offcut from the background paper, backed with silver mirror card, which, unfortunately looks black in any photo I've attempted to get.

For my card I used one of Lozzy's thistle papers - you can see Lozzy's lovely papers here - so many delightful papers - and you have the chance to win some by entering the challenge.

I added a 'twinchie'  that I made some years ago (took part in a swap and kept one for myself), using the beautiful Hero Arts gracious lady stamp. The tag was from another swap years ago, when I made one to keep for myself, using various elements including the embossed swirls and spots. I've added some gorgeous flowers that I received from Lozzy some time back.

I added the two sentiments raised up with foam. The embroidered rose in the middle was one that was made by Craftybren who used to sponsor my CHNC weekly challenges and kindly sent me some embroidered embellishments that I'm still using. Flowers from stash, including the lovely little roses in the centres.

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper February 2018 challenge

This is my design card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper February 2018 challenge - please click on the link to see the inspirational designs by my team and we hope you will join in our challenge using some patterned paper.

This 8" x 8" card was made using papers from Sara Davies' Love & romance 6" x 6" paper pad. I used six different papers from this pad - lots of fussy cutting and matting and layering - cutting/sticking individual flowers as well as different papers. The prize for Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper February 2018 is one of these paper pads.

Penny's challenge 365

I used the lovely Delicious Doodles A slice of cake (they are one of the sponsors of the challenge), colouring digitally in Microsoft Paint. The image was printed and die cut with a todo die, using a larger one to layer with some Kanban birthday sentiment  card, using another colour for the background. There's some exciting news on the challenge blog this week- I'm being joined by six ladies who are making up my first Design Team, having run the challenge blog for seven years by myself.

The topper on my card is upcycled from a card received a couple of years ago. I mounted this on an offcut of mirror card that had been embossed using the lovely Embossalicious star of wonder folder (unfortunately, it doesn't show up here like it does irl), adding the peel off greeting, mounted on to a matt silver card blank.

Let's craft and create challenge 133

This is my design card for Let's craft and create challenge 133: anything goes or option of love is in the air, Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in our challenge.

This was a commissioned wedding anniversary card for a friend's son and daughter-in-law. I stamped directly on to the decorated shaped big tag card using a well used and loved Anita bride and groom stamp, heat embossing with detail gold powder. I coloured lightly with Promarker flex pens and outlined parts of the bride's dress with quickie glue, applying Art Institue glitter.

I die cut the gold mirror card and also the sentiment which had been generated on computer and printed. Various glittered 3D stickers were added from stash.
