Blossoms and butterflies

I saw the lovely vibrant colour pallette for The Paper Players 503:

and liked the look of it, so this card is for that, hoping that the colours are near enough. I used a couple of pieces of paper from The Works with some butterflies and a sentiment panel added - clean and simple.

For a fortnite fan

This was a commissioned card sometime ago for a friend's grandson who is a Fortnite fan ... I know nothing about that, but googled and got the picture to which I added the birthday greeting and yellow mat, printing and adding to the Birthday sentiments Kanban background card,  adding the numerals, letters and sentiments.

Pink flowers and butterflies

Another aperture card made some time ago, using one of those Kanban gold foiled card blanks and stamping the inside with one of my favourite sentiment stamps (Happy Birthday wish by Finestamps), inking with versamark and heat embossing with detail gold, then adding the lovely glittery and 'squishy' butterflies and flowers.

For two bowls players

A while ago I was asked to make two cards for bowls enthusiasts ... they could be much alike, but just a bit different. Once again I used the Personal impressions stamp, colouring a bit. The background is Hunkydory card and I just added the gems and sentiments.

This is for:

Birthday bowls

A card made a while ago for a bowls lover's birthday using Paper Nation background paper, a piece of offcut paper to mat the image which had been stamped with the Personal Impressions bowler and coloured with spectrum noir alcohol pens. This was raised up with 3D foam. Then the sentiment was added and some gems.

The Lord is my strength and my song

Before the pandemic I was asked to make some cards with scripture verses on - I usually have boxes of cards for sale at church, but, of course, sadly we haven't been meeting at church since lockdown, so my boxes of cards are sitting there waiting.

Quite a long while ago I bought a couple of packs of postcards with matching envelopes from TKMaxx, thinking that they would come in handy one day. So I used on of the cards on the white card blank and one of the envelope fronts to run through the printer with the scripture verse ...  and then wrote the reference by hand. The little burlap birds came from The Works.

This card was commissioned a while ago to be sent to a son-in-law who loves rugby. The topper is from Hunkydory, the sentiment background is from Kanban and the paper with different elements is from my offcuts.

With love & best wishes

This is a card suitable for either a birthday, anniversary or wedding, perhaps. It is very similar to the previous card except this time there is the With love & best wishes panel raised up. Once again the supplies were from Kanban.

Happy anniversary

Similar to some others I've shown recently, a CAS card using a Kanban white card blank with silver hearts with a window showing the foiled card inside it with the Happy Anniversary topper upcycled from an old card. The pastel pink embossed circles in the corners came from a wedding pack from Hobbycraft.

Kiss and make up shaker

Kiss and make up is the name of the paper pack that I used for this shaker card. It is an 8 x 8 commission a while ago for a teenager who loves make up. I was also asked to include a mobile phone, hence the one printed with the Happy Birthday greeting and adhered with 3D foam. The 'mirror' with lights was taken from an internet freebie, cut out to make a frame, layering with acetate and 3D foam with a digitally created make up border printed and beads added inside to make the shaker.

This is a birthday card that was made for a lady keen on sewing and knitting. Friends like you ...

... are far and few

This is a card very similar to the one I made for my Craftyhazelnut's June challenge, but I've only just got round to blogging this one.

The card was made papers and other elements from a pack by Craftwork Cards called Sweet Pea - peas in a pod collection, which I bought some years ago. Then I added the sentiments, including the one with the little butterfly added.

Cat lover's birthday

This is a commissioned birthday card for a friend to give to a friend who is a cat lover (the recipient is the same as for the previous card.  I've used miscellaneous pieces of Hunkydory and Kanban card, some die cut using Spellbinder's marvelous squares, lifting the inner one with some foam tape, also doing this with the die cut pearlescent cat. Cat lover's birthday

It was a friend's birthday a couple of days ago. She has a cat and loves him and always likes to receive a birthday card with a cat on it (similar to the one she has - this one was fussy cut from a magazine page). The background and the Spellbinders marvelous square die cut are from Hunkydory and Kanban. The lovely glittery cat and flower from stash and the Dovecraft birthday sentiment.

15th birthday

This is a commissioned 8  x 8 card for a 15th birthday using a floral piece of paper that was in a magazine leaflet. The big butterfly is one from a set I got a long time ago from TKMaxx, flowers from Hobbycraft. The card was card on the right hand side and a piece of pink lined paper was punched using a Martha Stewart punch, leaving an edge so that the lovely satin looking card from inside would show. I lined the rest of the right hand side of inside the card and added a border.

Another aperture card using a Kanban gold foiled card blank and a gold foiled piece inside the card to show through the 'window', this time I stamped the birthday greeting on to a piece of matt gold mirror card,  heat embossing it with detail gold powder and cutting around it and adhering that on to the inner piece of card to show through the aperture, adding the letters and numbers to the front.
