BG challenge 13: aperture

This week's challenge on BG: 'For this weeks challenge we would like to see an Aperture in your creation, It can be any shape, size or quantity that you like ( for those of you not familiar with an aperture, An aperture is a hole or opening that acts as a window on your creation), And of course not forgetting to use at least one item from BasicGrey somewhere on your creation.'

I'm only just scraping in with this because of a combination of preparing to sell cards etc at the local school today and still not feeling well.

Anyway, I used my new cricut cartridgde 'wild card' to make the card and the envelope.

The card was cut from BG Urban Couture Cashmere and the cut out oval was stuck inside the card. I then cut the frame around the aperture and the oval for the computer printed sentiment with BG Urban Couture Lustra, using this as well to cut the shape for the envelope (I love the leaf of the flap).

  4. ooh I haven't been to visit your blog for a day or two. What a lot of lovely stuff you have been making. Nice advent pressies too!

  5. Love the matching enveloped with this and what a great idea to continue the pattern of the paper to the inside of the card with the aperture - fab!
