Sunflowers

Today's challenge on DCM is 'sunflowers' - there are some lovely bright and cheery cards there from the DT. I downloaded a couple of copyright-free photos and printed them on linen card to give a textured appearance. I used a Sakura metallic bronze pen to dot around in the middle of the flowers and to outline the Birthday sentiment and across the top and bottom of the brown linen card blank, including the faux stitching.

This month's Holiday challenge on Dewdrop Craftz is 'cheap as chips': to make a card as cheaply as possible - well this only cost me the card and the printer ink, the sentiment (I've had some of these in my box for ages) and the Sakura pen ink.

Imagine this: 'Sunflowers' was the theme for day 157 on 365 cards, so I'm linking there.

And, lastly, challenge 15 on Creative Inspirations is calling for 'stitching', real or faux.
