The paper does all the work

It's been a bit of a day today - we had to go up to St Thomas' hospital for John to get his eye looked at (he hit into his eye with the edge of the latch of our garden gate on Friday afternoon and had to go to our local A & E because he was very unwell) - anyway, we now have antibiotic ointment. We were there for quite some time, so the whole day was taken up.

Having done a few other things earlier in the evening I just wanted to relax and make a card - no inking or stamping, just using designer papers and a gatefold cardblank - a rather nice one that laps over in the middle rather than just meeting iyswim. So this is for Claudia & company 83 'fancy folds', Top tip Tuesday 37 'more than 1 fold', Stampavie and more 144 'more than a fold'

I used my cropodile to make holes to thread through some Papermania sparkling trim.

The papers are DCWV Mariposa - they are very glittery and foiled.

I love the writing about the honeysuckle - it so reminds me of going for walks with mum, my auntie and my nan when I was a little girl - we used to walk through a lane where there was honeysuckle trailing over a fence and my nan always used to remark about the beautiful scent of it. I'm linking this for Daring cardmakers June flowers.

This is also for:

Truly scrumptious 58: summer sparkle
Kort o mania 41: monochromatic
Guylou's inimitability: monochromatic
Scrapbook sisters 39: an English country garden
Pile it on 23: summer heaven
Little darlings 1: summer theme

Spoon full of sugar 155: here comes summer
