Out come the fibres again

For this card I've used the sketch for A la card monkey 69, which also asked for the card to be sympathy or thinking of you:

and I've used the colour combo for ColourQ 98:

This is also good for Crafts and me 48: blues or blue/greens.

Once again I raided my offcuts box, so this is for City crafter 70: scrap happy, and Jules crafty snippet challenge 32.

I haven't used any fibres for ages and ages (I remember a few years ago when they were very popular in cardmaking) - anyway, I got out the box and chose this eyelash lime green one. This is for this week's The paper variety challenge to use threads.

Why is it that the flash photo has made the brown brad (used three different colours deliberately) look more like red? Ah well! The brads are for 4 crafty chicks 51: metal, Sew many challenges 64: 3 or more brads, and also for Digi design house 12 recipe week 1: 3 brads, 2 patterned papers and 1 floss.

The sentiment is a Hobbycraft stamp inked with memento rich cocoa.

This is also for:

Fussy & fancy 43: use a lot - pick any embellishment and show at least 3 (brads)
Whoopsi Daisy: anything go's
Nadia's challenge 12: anything goes
Stamp insanity 73: anything goes
Craft us crazy 15: anything goes
Art impressions 28: anything goes
Paper playtime 53: anything goes
Try it on Tuesday: anything goes
Lothian crafts 17: anything goes
AiFactory: August anything goes
Aud sentiments 35: anything goes

  9. Hi Hazel

    Another lovely snippet make!!!

I don't know why cameras change the colour of things. I always struggle to photograph bright turquoise. It ends up looking like a pale royal blue!!!

    Great papers on this one!

Thank you sharing another great idea for using up those snippets.

    Love Jules xx

  17. Isn't it mad how things go round in fads. I used some fibres on a card a few weeks ago and had lots of lovely comments yet at one time we all HAD to have them LOL.

Hazel, you have to be one of the most prolific card makers around, I am in awe of you :)

Many thanks for joining in with our Anything Goes challenge over at OSAAT
