WOYWW 116

It's Wednesday again and that means it's WOYWW time - if you don't know what I'm talking about (is there anyone left who doesn't know?) just click on the link.

Mum bought me a Hougie board for part of my birthday present (well, to be truthful, I ordered it and she paid for it).

So far I've experimented with making rosettes. I need to make three large ones for a commission. I started with the small blue one, which was easy to make, but discovered that to make anything bigger I needed to prepare two strips and put them together - the pink one is about 6 inches across.

Thanks to all WOYWW-ers who left me comments last week. I tried to get round to everyone - managed to comment on lots, but apologise if I didn't get to all. I can't guarantee I will this time, but I'll try.

  1. Congrats on getting the Hougie board for your birthday. I have a Martha Stewart Score board and love it. WOW 6x6 rosette is awesome. I saw a wreathe made out of rosettes but thought that I would like some a little bigger if I were to make it. I might have to give this a try. Thanks for sharing. Vickie

  3. My house would be covered in rosettes if I had one of those boards!! I really like them, so pretty. Mind you, you could stick one onto a cocktail stick and make some impressive looking drinks!! xx

  6. I have a Hougie board too Hazel!
Brought it went I went to Ally Pally with Lythan earlier in the year and I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve brought in ages. It’s great for doing stepper cards, so quick and easy.

    Happy Crafting!
