CHNC challenge 37: swirls

The weeks are going by at an alarming pace - it's time for another challenge on my CHNC blog. For challenge 37 I'm asking you to use swirls on your cards. Please click on the link for the challenge to read what this is all about - and it would be lovely if you made a card and entered it for us all to see. There are lots of you who have been making Christmas cards for weeks (even months), but I suspect there are some of you reading this who have yet to start them - why not begin with this challenge?

For my card I stamped randomly with a Dawn Bibby Personal Impressions stamp inked with versamark and heat embossed with red metallic powder. I then added some rhinstone gems on to the end of the swirls.

The central nestie shape was cut from a piece of glittered card rescued from a Christmas cracker a couple of years ago, topped with the stamped image 'jolly Santa' by Hero Arts with just his face and hat coloured with copics.

(Sorry about the quality of the photo - I really should get my card made in daylight - will replace if I can get a better shot.)
