Simply something old, something new

For Christmas was given some Clarity stamps DVDs by Barbara Gray and a whole bundle of goodies to go with them. One of the stamps I received is 'cornflower' which I've used on this card, simply stamped with memento. The other stamp I've used is one that I've had for ages - a lovely Laura Ashley stamp from a set by Dovecraft. So I've used something new and something old. I lightly brayered the background using Big & juicy foliage and printed the scripture verse, having prepared it in Word using my favourite Lucida Calligraphy font.

I was prompted to make this card by Word art Wednesday 9, where these scripture verses were given for the challenge.

    This is beautiful Hazel, I do love the images, I have a fondness for Clarity stamps, I am waiting for a few to be delivered, I love the hint of colours and that verse is perfect.
