CHNC challenge 62: seeing red

Another week's gone by, so it's time for a new challenge on my CHNC blog. For challenge 62 we're seeing red - use red on your Christmas card ... a little, or a lot. I look forward to seeing what everyone does. If you haven't joined in yet, why not click on the link and join in the fun and avoid panic towards the end of the year.

Challenge 62 is being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and for my card I've used digital images kindly supplied by Robyn's Fetish - 'beautiful bow' (I used this twice) and 'prissy poinsettia'. I coloured with copics.

My card is based on the sketch for Sunday sketch & stamp 95 - I turned it to the left:

All papers used for my card were from my Christmas offcuts box, so this is another one for Pixie's crafty snippets 9. The foiled and glittered scalloped shape cut with a nestie was recycled - it was originally part of a Christmas cracker for a couple of years ago. It doesn't show up well here because of the foiling, but you can get the idea of what it looks like from the bit at the top.

I'm also entering this into the following challenges:

The crafty pad 159: recycle it
Divas by design 24: spots and/or stripes
Polka doodles 9: polkadots, stripes or both
The sisterhood of crafters: getting digi with it
Crafts 4 eternity R61: digital delights
Clearlyistamp 47: anything goes
LiaStampz 12: tic tac toe - I chose Glittr, flowers, die cut

  1. Super card Hazel - I can see the piece from the cracker fine, can't you see my nose print on the other side of your screen :) Oh boy, I just HAVE to make a card for your challenge this week. But, where does time fly to? Di xx
