Inspired by Marie Antoinette

This week's challenge on Daring cardmakers:

'I want to see your Vintage Parisian/Palace of Versailles creations as this week's theme is Marie Antoinette'.

I looked on the internet for pictures of Marie Antoinette and was going to lift and use one of them, such as this:

and then I remembered a spare ATC that I made when I entered a swap, so I thought I'd use that because it is vintage style and, I hope, appropriate for the challenge.

I used a card blank that already had a swirly lilac pattern on it and then added a piece of Papermania Chatworth vintage collection - the paper was too pink, so I distressed it with a mix of dusty concord and chipped sapphire DIs.

This is also for:

Kaboodle 108: shades of purple
Bling it on March: birthdays and shades of lilac
Crafty creations 159: vintage fashion
Little red wagon 122: use a vintage item
Pattie's 38: vintage
Sugar creek hollow: vintage inspired by a photo
One crazy stamper March: birthday wishes
Stampin' sisters in Christ 128: create a card in variegated colours

  5. Hazel, I think your photo and card are just perfect....the vintage lady and the beautiful blues and purples! Love the filigree and chandelier are so pretty and I love the lace and that gorgeous flower. Sorry to just be stopping by, I am behind due to a couple of funerals and such and this has limited my computer time, but I do want to thank you for joining us again at Sugar Creek Hollow.
