A perfect summer day

This is for the sketch for Digi Makeover 24:

I confess that I actually used the sketch for my previous card, but I'd used rubber stamps and not digis, so I thought I'd now make this card using digital images as required by the challenge.

The background paper is DCWV summer - this was an offcut that's been in my scraps box for ages - this is my first card this week for Pixie's crafty snippets 10.The image is a pre-coloured one from Charmed cards and crafts called 'hammock Dottie' from the 'Dottie at home' set. The sentiment is a digital one from Paper Makeup. The flip flops are foam.

How I wish it really was a perfect summer day!

This is also for:

Come and get it: vacation
More than favors wacky Wednesday 66: vacation
Hanna and friends 134: something to hand (hope the hammock qualifies)
Crafts 4 eternity 60: digital delights
Delicious doodles 14: music to sooth the soul - inspired by a song: Those lazy-hazy-crazy days of summer (Nat King Cole)
Glitter geeks 9: song title: Those lazy-hazy-crazy days of summer (Nat King Cole)
Totally papercraft 106: song: Those lazy-hazy-crazy days of summer (Nat King Cole)
Just some lines: girly girl

  5. Hi Hazel - after HUGE snowflakes here today this card really cheered me up no end! The something to hand could always be the cocktail?! Think you're wise just to wrap up warm and avoid the playground pogo sticks - am having some L plates printed this week!! Will be back tomorrow with a card, at last, for your super CH challenge :) Di xx
