It's Wednesday, so it's time for WOYWW 168. I'm preparing this early because we hope to go out for the day for a belated birthday treat.
Apologies for the terrible pictures - taken with my iPad because my camera is broken - you can see it with the lens permanently open because the battery won't keep in the housing. Of course, I didn't think about the fact that the iPad doesn't have flash so I suppose taking a picture in the evening is really a no-no.
To the left of where I sit are boxes, including Anna Griffin supplies that I had out to make three cards that you can see in the posts below this.
To the right you can see a starter box of Pan Pastels that I won for their challenge a couple of weeks ago and a friendly plastic kit that I won from a Craft-room challenge. You can also see brushes for distressing, my favourite ATG tape gun and that wire box with the Christmas decoupage etc is still there (none used this week).
Happy WOYWW, everyone - and thanks for all the visits and comments I received last week - they are very much appreciated.
Adding daylight pictures (not sure there's much difference - might see if there's a way of changing the resolution of the photos that the iPad takes):

Have you tried the Pan pastels yet. I have been thinking about getting them. But, figure I should use up some of the paint I have first. Very smart to use the Ipad camera to take your photos. #25

ReplyDeleteIs that belated birthday greetings to you are your DH - whichever, hope you have a lovely birthday treat.
ReplyDeleteThe photos have an interesting quality about them - I thought at first that you had been playing with a photo programme to get that effect.
How nice to have won those Pan Pastels - I've seen them and thought they'd be lovely to try but they are quite an expensive item so it will have to wait till I'm feeling flush :)
Happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x #105

Congrats on your wins, the pans look like fun. Shame about the camera, I'm just about ready to toss mine, can't get a good shot no matter what I do.
ReplyDeleteInteresting how the ipad changes to colours from night to day.
Have a great week.

I've been using the be funky app in my Ipad for pictures. I like it because you can do al the fixing after taking pictures. You can fix the contrast, sharpen the picture, etc. nice desk! Patsy
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your prizes :) Have you tried the pan pastels yet? The demos make them look really easy. Hugs Sally #148
ReplyDeleteYou look very organized! Glad you found a way to take your very important WOYWW pictures, despite your regular camera's issues. The daytime pictures do seem clearer, probably due to more available light. Hope you are having a good week. ~ Laura #118
ReplyDeleteI love your collection of markers. Your workspace looks very organised and the second lot of photos look clearer.
ReplyDeleteCarol
Hope your camera can be repaired soon, but the iPad did a wonderful job. Love how you have your markers within reach, and such lovely colours. Happy Belated WOYWW and thanks for visiting! #37
ReplyDeleteWell done with your photos under difficult circumstances, Hazel. They do look rather painterly and arty though, so no need to apologise! Nice to see someone else loves Ink Dusters - they are awesome, aren't they. Your desk looks lovely and organised, and very tidy - love the pots of markers.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comment, and good wishes for our family at the moment. I'm so sorry to hear that your mum has dementia. We don't have that problem fortunately, although we suspect that is the way my dad is going. So sad.
Hope you are having a good weekend. Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #35
PS - for anyone reading this on Hazel's blog - if you hop over to mine and search for "Inkylicious Ink Dusters" you'll find the tutorial I did (with videos) on how to use them. They are awesome!!!
