It's only words
For todays challenge for the Christmas Card Club Dawn asked us to use only words, no images, on our Christmas cards. I remembered a 'Merry Christmas' oval that I'd had left from a Kanban kit long ago and thought I would use that ... then I had to hunt for papers to go with it.
The two main background papers are from Fancy Pants winterland pad - the one with script was brushed with bundled sage distress ink - the main part of the paper is much more pink than it looks here. The panel across the middle is from the Authentique peaceful collection, torn and edged with victorian velvet distress ink - on reflection, I think tattered rose would have been better, but it's done now.
Spotty ribbons from stash. Having used a lot of offcuts recently, how lovely it was to cut into new papers (and, of course, I now have some offcuts to use up!).

Lovely Christmas card, Hazel, and I'm guessing that the sentiment is your 'green' part, right, since it's pretty clear you're not doing St. Patrick's Day? LOL In any case, thanks so much for honoring us by playing in our "St. Patrick's Day or Green" challenge at Avadares this month. Good luck in the draw. :-D
