Folded Christmas tree card


It's Karen's turn to set the challenge for the Christmas Card Club and she asked us to make a card that included a teabag/origami folded topper. This was indeed a challenge for me! I played around with a few ideas, but then settled on making a teabag folded tree following this Youtube link.

All papers, including the gold foiled vellum beneath the tree were all from my Christmas offcuts box and the stars were from Poundland. I inked the bottom edges of the tree sections with a copic pen.


The fold foiling on the vellum doesn't show up there, but you get some idea of what it looks like from this close up on a section:

  1. Very nice Hazel! Think I am going to have to give this fortnights challenge a miss...
    Getting a wee bit overwhelmed with getting ready for our trip. I have next fortnights done but will have to catch up thos one when I get back!

    I love the richness of the green oaoer you used for the tree. It is a neautiful shade of green!
