Susan asked me to make a card for her to give to Clifford for their Silver Wedding Anniversary today. I made it a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't show it then because Clifford visits Facebook and might well have noticed it, especially as it has his name on it.
Wish you both a very Happy Anniversary ... and many more to come.
The card blank is 8 x 8. The background paper is an unknown make - I chose it because it has a lovely subtle blend of colours that compliment, but, hopefully, don't detract from the silver elements. The wording was generated from computer and printed (a few trial and error attempts before I got the right size to fit the spaces!
The sparkly ribbons were from Hobbycraft. The silver swans forming the heart in the middle and the padded silver hearts have been in my 'romance' box for ages - just right for this card. The die cuts were created with Spellbinders d-lites 'marvellous squares' - the middle one is a piece of Hunkydory foiled card with swirls - can't really see it here.

such a lovely card and thanks for sharing with at CRAFT in our Wedding and Anniversary Challenge
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely Hazel. I like using the larger 8x8 cards for special occasions and usually print a sentiment onto A4 paper and cut it down and attach it to the right hand side of the open card by sticking it either at the top or left side to form the insert. Does that make sense???
