First card for CCAYR 'Christmas fairy' challenge


As it's 1 September, it's time for a new challenge on Christmas Cards All Year Round and this month's challenge is 'Christmas fairies with a little sparkle'.

I've based my card on the sketch given for Fetch a sketch 57:


I used a ready shaped dotted card blank on to which I stuck a gorgeous fairy image that I found online, mounted on to a piece of lilac mirror card. I highlighted some of the snow using polar white flower soft and used stickles lavender for the fairy's wings.The gingham ribbon was from Hobbycraft and the silver metal charm and the sentiment were from stash.
