Pink Christmas
It's time for a challenge for the Christmas Card Club and Carol has chosen the theme: 'pretty in pink'. I've used some papers and silver mirror card that were in my Christmas offcuts box along with a Kanban topper from a kit bought long ago. I can remember a time when I used fibres, but haven't done so for ages, but I dug out this pink sparkly eyelash one that was just right for the sketch I wanted to use (I thought of using twine, but I didn't have any pink).
I based the card on the sketch given for Deconstructed 127:
The photo had to be taken with flash - I either had to settle for this or have one that reflected on all the silver and some of it then looked gold instead - will perhaps get a better photo in daylight. The sentiment oval looks very dull here, but is bright in real life.

ReplyDeleteHazel, I'm late in commenting as well. Life gets in the way of fun sometimes. Your card is simply beautiful, and the fiber sparkle is so gorgeous behind your pretty decorated village. Love the Kanban products, but don't see them much in my area. Great card with lots of glisten...a white Christmas, yes? Your oval was quite shiny on my monitor. TFS & Hugs
