The week has gone by very quickly and it's already time for the second 'anything goes' challenge on Completely Christmas. It was great to see so many people joining in for the first challenge. Completely Christmas 2 is being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique and for my design card I have used 'holly berry with ribbon' that they kindly supplied. This image had a white background, so I played around digitally with transparency features until I was able to layer the image on to part of a fairy image that I had found free on the internet, originally using it for the purple creation you can see here, changing the colours and adding the text before printing out and layering on to a card blank.
I coloured the holly berry image with a mix of copics and spectrum noirs and then added glossy accents here and there (and waited impatiently for the GA to dry!).

A really lovely and traditional winter scene Christmas card. The darker colours in the holly works well with the softer image colours.
