Mother's Day card for Lily

Last week I made a mother's day card for Hyacinth for a friend to give to her mother. She then asked me to make a similar card for her mother-in-law - her name is Lily. Two floral mother's day cards.

I found a copyright picture of a lily, added the sentiment and faded the edges digitally before printing and mounting on to the green mirror card with the two ribbons down the side.

I used a quickie glue pen to highlight parts of the main lily and sprinkled first pink, then yellow, then black to the various parts of the flower, using Art Institute glitters (I've had these little pots for years - such good value because they have been used time and time again).

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Simon says Wednesday challenge: glitter it
Pink gem 115: mother's day/female birthday/special lady
Treasured times 14: anything goes with layering
PumpkinSpice 64: dots
Pink elephant 242: lots of layers, ribbon, pinch of green
Crafting by designs: use a ribbon
Crafty ribbons 81: anything goes with ribbon
Card and scrap 72: use lace and/or ribbon
Sparkle n sprinkle March: anything goes - using loose glitter
That craft place: flowers and/or mother's day
