Our anniversary

Our anniversary isn't till 25 May ... but for once I've made a card ahead of time. I actually have quite a list of other cards to make, but thought I wouldn't leave this till the last minute (as I usually do) - we'll actually be away for the anniversary, so even more reason to get ahead.

The background was created with my gelli plate with acrylic paint and a stencil on to a piece of pink paper with fine white dots. The roses are  from a sheet of Basic Grey 'surgared' embellishment stickers, the bears, hearts and Anniversary sentiment are Forever Friends and the quote is from a set of sentiments I purchased a while ago. I'm a bit worried that it looks a bit too girly ... I hope John likes it.

This is for:

The paper shelter 157: love is in the air
Time out 5: time flies, love lasts (23rd anniversary) - 'every day that passes by'
Eclectic paperie May: get stencilled
Make something Monday 16: paint
Ooh la la 156: quotations
Twisted Tuesday 76: a rose for my sweetie - rose and sweetheart theme
Creative craft cottage 21: flowers and hearts
Divas by design: in the pink
613 avenue create 71: anything goes
Ladybug: anything goes
Through the craftroom door: anything goes
Scribble and scrap 18: anything goes
Crafting from the heart 18: anything goes
