This is my design card for today's Suzy Bee's Bloomin' challenge 68: anything goes with a twist ... monochrome. Please click the link to see the lovely designs of the rest of the team and join in our monochromatic challenge.
The challenge is being sponsored by Lacy Sunshine and I used their Emily's kimono image, which I coloured with just one alcohol pen - the Chameleon 'sky blue' - this is my first attempt at using one of the Chameleon pens that were delivered earlier this week. As with anything new, practice is needed ... so I will take take and try to get better with using them.
Papers are from the DCWV Far East collection (I was given an 8 x 8 pad ages and ages ago and I'm still using some up, including the scrap piece down the side, as well as the other bigger offcuts). I stamped on to the background paper using Stazon teal blue, but it doesn't show up too well here. I also stamped the fan on to a scrap piece of card that matched the background and cut around it. Washi tape was added either side of the scrap piece.
This is also for Inkspirational 76 where this photo was given:

Hi Hazel, this is beautiful! Rather than me re-opening the widget to link this in, as I've already done the draw based on 64 entries, why don't you just link into to the Playground when it opens again. I don't mind a bit of backlinking! Got your lovely penguin card in time though :)
