Completely Christmas challenge 65

This is my design card for Completely Christmas 65: anything goes with a twist ... make it square. Please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team. This is a sad day for Completely Christmas because it is our last challenge.

If this challenge blog has helped you to make your Christmas cards earlier in the year to avoid panic towards the end of the year, there are quite a few other challenge blogs devoted to making Christmas creations, including my own weekly Craftyhazelnut Christmas challenge - this week the theme for CHNC challenge 231 is 'colour it'. I also run the monthly Craftyhazelnut's Christmas challenge extra where it is always 'anything goes' as long as it's Christmas. There are always lovely prizes to be won on both of these blogs.

Back to Completely Christmas challenge 65 - for my card I used a lovely shiny dufex picture of three ships (upcycled from a card received) matted on to an offcut piece of text paper with the words of the Christmas song, which was then mounted on to another Christmas script paper. It is a shame that the photo doesn't do justice to the lovely picture.

This is also for:

Pixie's snippets 178 and 179
12 months of Christmas link up
Crimbo crackers 81: anything goes
Open-miinded 37: inspired by a song - 'I saw three ships come sailing by'
ABC Christmas: K is for keep it simple
Left of center: upcycle
May Rudolph Day
Lil patch of crafty friends 10: anything goes
Sister act 108

  4. This is a great Christmas card, Hazel! I love that image and so perfect to have it sit on DP that has the words of the carol!

Sorry I have not been by to play at your challenges. Not enough time since we moved. Soon as my life gets a little less busy, I will be back to play.

Thanks for taking part in the May Rudolph Days Challenge.

  10. Hi, this one has been playing on my mind since I first saw it on the challenge, I always SAVE them to a folder for future reference to track them down. I was so amazed to read it was 'up-cycled' and was a Dufex - I can just imagine the beauty of it, being better than I originally thought. Sorry to read these challenges, here are coming to an end. But recycling is always good for a challenge. Kindest regards.
