Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper May challenge

This is my card for Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper May challenge - if you haven't discovered this challenge blog yet, please hop on over there and get using some of your hoarded patterned paper. For those who already know about the blog, please note that there is a change of rule: From now on you may enter any creation on which patterned paper has been used - you are no longer required to completely cover the creation with patterned paper, as long as you use some on your creation, obviously the more, the better.

For my card I used some of the Crafts House Alllsorts paper (not from the prize pack, from another one!), using one of my favourite wedding stamps by Anita, inking with versamark and heat embossing with Wow! metallic rich super fine gold powder. I added a bit of colouring here and there with spectrum noir pens. The organza ribbon with gems was from Hobbycraft - I was able to use up a couple of snippets of it behind the bride and groom - it isn't one continuous piece of ribbon. Sentiment panel and Wedding Day wishes have been in my stash for ages.

This is also for:

  19. Its nice to see what appears to be the same designed paper with two different color schemes, and you pulled them together quite well. This card definitely offers a modern and refreshing approach versus the traditional monochrome wedding card. I like it!
