I was asked to make a 50th birthday card for a friend to give to her husband. I used a digital music background - the recipient is musical. I swiped the musical instrument with versamark (it was originally lilac) and heat embossed with copper powder. The greeting was computer generated, torn around a perspex oval template and edges with versamark and copper embossing. The big 50 was rescued from a golden wedding card (someone gave me a lot of old cards in case I wanted to recycle anything).The corrugated card (a snippet left from some packaging), gold foiled sentiment and the padded gingham hearts from stash.
I can show the card now because the recipient has got it and loves it.

ReplyDeleteI rescue pieces off old cards too. I have used 25 from Anniversary cards we received, to be used for 25th Dec for Xmas cards! Feels good to upcycle bits like that, doesn't it!
