CHNC challenge extra for July mid-month inspiration.


Mid-month has come round so quickly again - difficult to think that we are now much nearer to Christmas 2015 than 2014. It's time for some mid-month inspiration from the team. We would love you to join in our July challenge here.

For my card I used  Aurora Wings Christmas owl with Santa hat, colouring with chameleon pens and matting on to an offcut of paper, then on to a couple more Christmas offcuts (the main background is BoBunny). Poinsettias from Poundland. I added Art Institute fine glitter to the edges of the hat.

    This is very cute, Hazel. I really like those beautiful poinsettias. You sure fit a lot of challenges into one card! But you could also enter it in our "It's a Triple Play" (use 3 embellishments) challenge at the Love to Scrap! Challenge blog at

    I love the poinsettias Hazel, the little rhinestone centre is a nice touch. I like the cute image too, the hint of glitter on the hat adds a lovely sparkle to your card.

    This is such a delightful little card! It's about 100 degrees in my neck of the woods, so I loved seeing a Christmas card! And this one really is clever. I like how you made it with traditional colors, yet you've given it a great sense of whimsicality with the cute owl in his hat! Great combination of elements and I like how it makes such a happy scene. And your post made me excited for Christmas (even as the fan is blowing on my face), so thank you for that reminder!!
