CHNC challenge 286: cute or anything goes as long as it's Christmas

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 286 - more details about the challenge if you click on the link - would love to see your Christmas crafting there.

I've cheated a bit today because the theme for every third Saturday is 'cute', but I've added 'anything goes as long as it's Christmas' for this week because I wanted to use the lovely Christmas scene 1 image kindly supplied by Robyn's Fetish as one of the sponsors of this challenge

I coloured the printed image with spectrum noir pens and cut out the shape with a henna frame Todo die, cut on the Todo and edged with a pen. The background is an upcycled card, cut a bit at the corners. The card originally had a nativity scene on it, hence the edges surrounding part of the die cut, with the addition of two Hobbycraft flowers.

O come let us adore Him

  7. Great idea to use an old Christmas Card as the base for a new card Hazel! Sometimes they have lovely designs or sentiments on them and it seems a shame to send them off to recycling! Thanks for playing along at Incy Wincy Designs this time.
