Penny's challenge 317

This is my design card for Penny's challenge 317, where the theme is 'anything goes'. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in with your entries.

For my A5 card I used Cute as button's pre-coloured sewing Susan image (Cute as a button are sponsoring the challenge), with a piece of Hunkydory card for the background and various elements and stickers from stash. I used my Scan n Cut to die cut around the image (too much fussy cutting to do it myself - lol!), sticking this on to a Hunkydory topper.

The eyelash ribbon is some that I've had for ages - thought it was about time to use some more of it.

  3. I used to do a lot of sewing, making clothes for my kids. The strangest request was when my daughter was invited to a 'Zombie Jane Austen' party: I made her a simple 18th Century type gown out of cheap sheets in the sale at Sainsbury's, and she very carefully added rents and also 'bloodstains' with cold tea!!!!!

Your card is much more like normal sewing, Hazel, and it's ideal for any seamstress!!!

  36. This is cute! Thank you for joining our Challenge a few weeks ago at Word Art Wednesday. We have a week left on our current Challenge and I hope you join us again. Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word in Psalm 84:11 and it says, "For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly." Have a blessed week.
