CCAYR March challenge: anything but a card

This is my card for Christmas cards all year round March challenge: anything but a card. I'm in the Christmas Belles group so we are posting here today - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the Belles group. The Gingerbread gals posted at the beginning of March here - please have a look at their lovely designs and join in our challenge there. (Apologies to my teamies that I was late in adding my creation, which is why this is being blogged the day after the challenge reminder went live).

I downloaded the lovely svg freebie from Dreaming tree called Christmas treats gift box, cutting with my Scan n Cut using various papers, mainly from DCWV, some glitter washi tape and a luscious red bow that's been in a box from ages (upcycled from something received).

The top of the box can be opened and the Christmas tree could be written on:

This is also for:

12 months of Christmas link up 27: anything goes
The holly and the ivy Christmas challenge: anything goes
Seasons greetings Christmas challenge 3: anything goes
Winter wonderland: use ribbon or lace
CRAFT 407: Christmas
Crimbo crackers 128: die cuts (using Scan n Cut)
A snowflakes promise 38: anything goes
Digistamps4Joy 134: anything goes + twist: add washi tape
Word art Wednesday 274: anything goes
