Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper March 2018 challenge
This is my design card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper March 2018 challenge - please click on the link to see the inspirational designs by my team and we hope you will join in our challenge using some patterned paper.
This 8" x 8" card was made using paper and flowers from Docrafts Papermania Parisienne blue capsule collection - the prize for the challenge this month is an 8" x 8" paper pack from this collection. The flowers are from a Docrafts Papermania capsule range - I have lots of these in various collections and have always been a bit stumped as to how to use them as they are all the same diameter. Recently, I've started to chop down some of the petals so that I can layer the blooms - I love the look of them like that.
The lovely floral image is a Magenta stamp inked with memento Paris dusk, matted on to an offcut of pearlescent dark blue card. Ribbons, pearls and greeting from stash.

Very pretty! I love all the blue (it's my favorite color)! The patterns on those flowers are fabulous, but I can definitely see how you stumped when they are all the same size. I think your solution worked perfectly. Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built and Jo's Scrap Shack.

Lovely card hazel, and what a great idea for the petals! I bought a few of these packs when I first started cardmaking, and have almost all of them still, as I also found them awkward. Thanks for the idea! Thank you for joining us at Sweet Stampin' this week. Sammy-x
