WOYWW 473
It's Wednesday and that means a visit to Julia's lovely blog and lots of other lovely crafting spaces to explore and enjoy. If you don't know what I'm talking about, the head over to WOYWW 473 at Julia's lovely blog and find out ... and I hope you'll join in the fun.
This morning I'm posting really early because John has two cardiology appointments at the local hospital - the first is for an echo before seeing the consultant later and the appointment is 9 o'clock, which means we need to be ready for transport at 7 ... that alarm just keeps getting earlier and earlier.
Anyway, back to the purpose of this post ... to show what's in my workspace today. I confess that the stamps that needed cleaning had even been added to since last week's showing of my desk, but I've been shamed into dealing with them ... no, I haven't cleaned them ... I've just moved them - lol!
So, on the left hand side of my desk there just happen to be the five little circle stamps still there because I have a plan to use them again very soon. And then there's a few nice things that will be used on a card for my Patterned paper challenge and some of it will be used for a prize on there - if you haven't discovered my Pattered Paper challenge blog yet, then please click on the link, visit and then join in the fun using some of your patterned paper. And, of course, the all important fan that runs off the usb on the computer - it's only small, but does the job well.
Over on the right hand side of my desk are some more new goodies and underneath there are lots of offcuts as well as the Papermania Modern Deco paper pad that I've fallen in love with.
In the middle you can see four cards that I've made and blogged in the last couple of days:
When I can I'll visit some of the blogs linked for WOYWW 473 and I hope you will too.

ReplyDeleteHope the echo gives off favourable results - had one the other week but at the doctors, At least it is a very painless procedure.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards on your desk but the star for me is the computer generated fan - what a wonderful idea and so useful in this heat.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx
What a handy little fan Hazel, there are many that would be wishing they had one of those over the past few days. Lots of paper, card bling and creativity to be had on your desk today, have fun using your new stash.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW & enjoy the fan.

I hope your husband's appointments go well this morning and yu have a favorable outcome on both.
ReplyDeleteI am intrigued by those circle stamps. I've never seen any like them. Your cards are fabulous. That's why I don't make cards. Happy WOYWW from #3.
Pretty cards! That's a cute sized fan, it's good it doesn't take up much crafty space as we tend to start with a clear desk, then end out working in a card sized gap. Surrounded by papers and other bits hahah

Hi Hazel, good luck for the appointment, hope all goes well. Love the cards, great use of patterend papers. I have loads, so may well have a look at your link later. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 XxX
ReplyDeleteHi Hazel - sounds like I need one of those fans! I have only just recently discovered your challenge blog - might take part one day - it seems very popular! Hope the hospital appointment went well - I hate going to the doctors/dentists/opticians and even hairdressers but we all have to deal with this stuff to maintain our bodies at one point or another. Have a lovely week! zsuzsa #23
ReplyDeleteAt the moment I can't do anything unless I'm in front of a fan - that looks a great little size for a desk, still allowing plenty of room to craft! I love the cards you've made - such pretty gentle colours. Hope your husband's appointments go well,
ReplyDeleteHave a good week,

ReplyDeleteWhere would we be without a fan, thank goodness someone had the sense to invent them Lol! Hope your day has gone to plan. Wishing you a happy woyww, Angela x13x
ReplyDeleteI sense a purple-ish theme going on. Clever aren’t I?!! Love the line up of circular stamps and love to hear that you’ve added to the cleaning pile and dealt with just as I would, heart warming I call it!! The USB fan is a good idea, and of course, because you’re a tidy person, there’s actually room on your desk for it!
ReplyDeleteHi Hazel. Hospital appointments... yes, had plenty of those with John. It does indeed mean an incredible unsociable alarm time. Hope the appointments went well. Great cards - and I love the look of those little round stamps. I like the principle - the stamps are dealt with - moved!! Thanks for visiting - yep - received all four of them - great fun to keep reading your name!
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

I hope John's appointment went well. I love the cards you have made. I am a bit late to the party tonight - thanks for sharing. Caro x (#42)
ReplyDeleteHi Hazel, I am a little green that you have the space to just move the inky stamps out of the way. ( I have to clean mine as I go because, I have such a small circle to play in with all the piles on the side if I set a inky stamp aside I will for sure set something on it. ( usually a finished sample so, that irritated me enough to at least clean the stamps) ( I keep a plastic box of baby diaper wipes handy for that ) ~Stacy #37
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with John.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of fun on your desk! Cool stuff and I love your cards!
Thanks for popping by and have a great week!

I like the soothing lavender and mix of prints in your sympathy cards, especially since I need to make one for a dear friend. Praying that all went well with your husband's cardiology appointments. Thanks for your visit to my blog, happy WOYWW, and Blessings!
ReplyDeleteIs that a pattern-paper block at the bottom of the 'pile'... I love those little blocks and this one really speaks to me! Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday, have a great week! Love from sunny (and warm!) Holland. Marit #28
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit earlier, still sorting magazines - didn't know I had so many.
ReplyDeleteLove the softness of your cards, they should bring lots of comfort. It's the knowing that someone cares .....
